Laura took her first yoga class in 2008, she walked into the 26&2 Original Hot Yoga class in Vancouver Canada and the rest is history.

The Intensity of the class and the challenge of the Hot yoga practice was a real struggle but she found her body craved something she was getting from the heat.

Laura would have started Hot Yoga with the intention to get fit but what hooked her in and kept her coming back time and time again was how good the hot yoga made her feel, the mental clarity and how the crippling back pain she had suffered with for years was slowly easing, due to building strength and flexibility through a regular practice.

Laura attended Bikram yoga teacher training in Los Angeles in 2014 and she has been a big part of the Hot yoga community in Limerick for the past 11 years.

Laura loves all styles of yoga and exploring new ways to move and strengthen the body, but also to relax and slow down.

Even if you think that you’re too old, too broken or not flexible enough, she is here to show you that this yoga is for everybody!

Edward found Yoga back in 2012 when Hot Yoga first came to Limerick. Very quickly he came to the realisation that Hot Yoga for him was the missing link to achieve a level of fitness and mobility that simply was not attainable before due to multiple injuries sustained in a car crash many years ago.

In 2016 Edward completed his training in Absolute Hot Yoga which was a life changing experience and was the start of his transition from Drilling and Blasting in the construction industry to working full time in the wellness industry. Today Edward specialises in teaching Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga. He believes that Yoga should be accessible to all and no matter what age, body type or gender you are. Wellness belongs to us all and Edward shares this through his love of anatomy and offering modifications in his classes so that his students will get 100% of the benefits of yoga for them.

If you are thinking about or already practice yoga, come to Edward’s classes to enjoy a challenging and equally as important an inclusive and rewarding class where you can practice with the body you have today.

Ann began her practice 15 years ago. Having successfully completed a 250 hour teacher training programme in 2021, Ann has been teaching at a hot studio since and is loving every minute of it.

As Ann continues to study and learn,  her philosophy is to teach what she loves about yoga. Ann creates a space for students to challenge and explore themselves through breath and movement, by listening to their own bodies and thereby experiencing their own personal yoga journey.

‘I believe the goal of yoga is to enjoy the body we have and experience the strength and vitality of our own breath, energy and spirit.’

Christine took her first yoga class in 2001 in Limerick.

She then moved to Spain and that’s where she discovered Ashtanga Yoga.

Ashtanga was unlike any other yoga she had experienced.

It was way tougher than she had wanted but it felt like “the real deal” and she went on to make her first trip to India in 2008. She has been to India 3 more times since then.

Despite her love for ashtanga, she has always practiced and trained in other styles of yoga.

She believes it is important to stay open to all approaches and all perspectives and allow them to benefit her teaching approach. She has been teaching Ashtanga in Limerick since 2013.
